Fall Fellowship Festival features food, fun and dancing

Three congregations are coming together to host the 2023 Fall Fellowship Festival in Geneva.

Everyone wants to feel welcomed, included, and connected.

This is why three worshipping congregations that meet in the same building are hosting an event to celebrate fellowship among their members and the broader community.

On Sunday, Oct, 1, the Fox Valley Presbyterian Church hosts a joint-community fellowship activity together with Rejoice Lutheran Church and the Fruto De Vida congregation.

Members of these culturally diverse congregations invite friends, family, and neighbors to join for an afternoon of fun and community-building.

The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on the church grounds at 227 East Side Drive. Admission is free and soft drinks will be provided.

Food will be available for purchase from Dave's Slow Food truck. Bring a dessert to share. Food vouchers will be available for those in need.

Activities and games will be available including gaga ball and a cornhole tournament. There will be live music and intergenerational caller dancing.

The event will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

The three congregations hope to create a welcoming and positive space for people to come together for fun and fellowship as they celebrate their community and positive partnerships.

RSVP are requested to help with planning at foxvalleypres.org/2023-fall-fellowship-festival.
