Long Grove Cocoa Crawl returns with hot drinks, treats

Historic downtown Long Grove will celebrate the winter season and its vibrant retail scene during the annual Cocoa Crawl from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.

Cocoa lovers are invited to sip complimentary hot cocoa creations being poured at various outdoor cocoa huts while strolling around town, visiting participating boutiques, shops, and restaurants.

The Cocoa Crawl is a fun, family-friendly event that underscores why Long Grove has been called one of America's best small towns.

Guests who attend the no-admission event are directed to start at the Long Grove Visitor's Center, 145 Old McHenry Road, where they will pick up a map of participating stores and restaurants before crawling around town to as many spots as they like and enjoying hot cocoa along the way.

All participating merchants are also included in a Cocoa Crawl Gift promotion. If Cocoa Crawlers spend $100 at any participating store or restaurant on Feb. 11, they will receive an official Cocoa Crawl mug from the Long Grove Visitor's Center.
