Byline Bank Supports Hispanic Business Network Chicago's Annual Toy Drive

Branches now accepting new, unwrapped toys for Chicago Public School children, ages 7-14

Leslie Kaufman

Byline Bank is proud to partner with the Hispanic Business Network - Chicago (HBN) on its annual toy drive this holiday season, in hopes of delivering joy to children in the Chicago Public School system and surrounding suburbs. From now through December 1, 2022, Byline Bank is accepting new, unwrapped toys for children ages 7-14 years old which can be dropped off in donation boxes set up in the lobbies of most branches. A full list of branch locations can be found at www.bylinebank.com/locations.

Byline Bank employees and HBN members will volunteer their time to collect the toys and HBN members will collect and distribute the donated toys to low-to-moderate income families throughout the Chicago Public School system.

"This magical time of year is an opportunity to gather as many donations as possible to bring a little joy to the children in our community," said Roberto Arista, AVP, Senior Branch Manager at Byline Bank's Rogers Park location. "It is amazing to see Byline customers and employees come together for such a great cause."

Arista, head of the bank's Latinx Employee Resource Group and an HBN board member since 2014, has been involved firsthand with the extensive support the network has given to the community. In addition to inspiring childhood joy with the annual toy drive, HBN also has a foundation supporting first-generation college students with scholarships.

"Through this partnership with HBN, Byline Bank continues its mission of giving back to the communities we serve," Arista said. "We are proud to partner with HBN to make a difference in the lives of children in Chicago whose families need a little extra support this holiday season."
