Free virtual class with live Q&A looks at cancer and benefits of exercise

Northwest Community Healthcare Cancer Care Services will host a virtual class titled "Get Moving Through Cancer Treatment and Beyond, The Benefits of Exercise."

This free, virtual event, which includes a live Q&A, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18.

This presentation will include benefits of exercise during and after cancer treatment; ways to safely exercise; appropriate exercise intensity levels; and what to do before and after you exercise.

Presenters Amy Miller is a board-certified specialist in geriatric physical therapy and a certified lymphedema therapist, and Tom Rosinski is a board-certified specialist in oncology physical therapy and a certified lymphedema therapist.
