Round Up the Household for a Family Western Hoedown on Sept. 23

The wild west is coming to Northbrook Leisure Center on Friday, Sept. 23, with the all-new Family Western Hoedown. Grab your party boots and join Northbrook Park District for a fun-filled evening with a cookout, line and square dancing, games and prizes. A DJ will lead families in high energy dancing and fun.

"We're excited to offer this new event where kids can create lifelong memories with their family," said Recreation Manager Katie Kotloski. "And what could be more fun than a night of dancing under the starts coupled with a fun theme?"

Family Western Hoedown will be hosted outside of the Leisure Center. In the event of inclement weather, the event will move indoors.

Fee is $25 per person for residents and $35 per nonresident. Registration can be completed online at nbparks.org, or in person at Northbrook Leisure Center (3323 Walters Avenue), Northbrook Sports Center (1730 Pfingsten Road), or Techny Prairie Activity Center (180 Anets Drive).

Deadline to register for the Family Western Hoedown is Wednesday, Aug. 31.
