Brotherhood of Harmony returns to Schaumburg Farmers Market

The Schaumburg Farmers Market will welcome back the Brotherhood of Harmony barbershop chorus to provide musical entertainment from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 29.

The program includes old favorites from Broadway numbers to rock 'n' roll tunes to well-known melodies. Customers are also invited to sing along with the chorus.

"These men sing a wide array of popular songs, utilizing four-part harmony to produce the barbershop quartet sound," chorus Director Brian Cromer said.

Come visit the Schaumburg's Farmers Market from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, through Oct. 28, at 190 S. Roselle Road, in Schaumburg. The market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, seafood, meats, flowers, plants and gourmet cheeses sold by the farmers who produce them.

You will even find baked goods, olives, preserves, hot sauces, coffee, tea and knife sharpening services.

"We're thrilled to have this barbershop chorus back to entertain. I'm sure our customers will enjoy our exciting products and this group's lively music," said Allison Albrecht, communication and outreach director for the village of Schaumburg.
