Hanover Township older adults to showcase original works at 16th annual show

Hanover Township older adults will display works of art at the Township's 16th annual "Got Art?" show to run through the month of August. Residents are encouraged to stop by and see the hundreds of pieces created by adults aged 55 and older in paintings, ceramics, and other handcrafts instructed at the Hanover Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

On Thursday, August 4, the public is welcome to attend an artist reception at the center from 1:00PM – 4:00PM. Light refreshments and hors d' oeuvres will be served.

"All year long our residents have created amazing works of art through a variety of different mediums," said Megan Conway, Director of Aging Services. "This is a great opportunity to not only view these pieces in person but to also support the artists."

For more information, please call the Hanover Township Senior Center at (630) 483-5600.
