2023 Miss Illinois Volunteer Scholarship Pageant
The Miss Illinois Volunteer and Miss Illinois Teen Volunteer Scholarship Pageants are now accepting applications for the 2023 State pageant on October 22-23, 2022 at The Westin Chicago Northwest. The Miss Illinois Volunteer Pageants are the official state preliminary competitions to the national Miss Volunteer America Pageants, held in March and June 2023 in Jackson, Tennessee.
Miss Illinois Volunteer 2022 Sydney Daniel, 24, of Caseyville, was crowned the first ever Miss Illinois Volunteer in February 2022. Sydney went on to the inaugural Miss Volunteer America in May, where she competed against 41 other women from across the United States in (1) interview, (2) talent, (3) lifestyle & fitness, and (4) evening gown. Sydney represented Illinois beautifully and made us all proud.
Miss Illinois Teen Volunteer 2022 Brooklyn Knedlick, 14, of Mokena, was crowned the first ever Miss Illinois Teen Volunteer in February 2022. Brooklyn went on to the inaugural Miss Teen Volunteer America in March, where she competed against 41 other young women from across the United States in (1) interview, (2) talent, (4) activewear, and (4) evening gown. Brooklyn blew away the crowd with her acoustic guitar and signing talent performance.
The five points of the Miss Volunteer America crown represent the pageant's mission, S.E.R.V.E. Scholarship. Education. Responsibility. Volunteerism. Empowerment. Miss Volunteer America awarded over $150,000 in scholarships during its inaugural pageant, and the opportunities continue to grow.
Miss Illinois Volunteer has put together a phenomenal prize package for our 2023 winners. Applications are open for the Miss, Teen, and Princess age divisions. Miss eligibility is met by young women ages 18-26, Teen eligibility is met by young women ages 13-17, and Princess eligibility is open to girls ages 6-12.
