York quarterback Colton Gumino gives back in a big way

Colton Gumino has lived in Elmhurst for the past 15 years. Colton is a talented QB at York Community High School. The freshman has been training at Throw It Deep for the last 9 years with coach Jeff Christensen.

A few years ago, Colton teamed up with the guys at Throw It Deep to donate to each year "TDs for Charity."

In the past, Colton has donated to Luries Children Hospital, JJ Watts Foundation, and Tiger Woods Foundation.

Colton learned about the Elmhurst 205 foundation through Mark Soehn and Lauren Specht this year. He learned how the foundation provides Elmhurst Unit District 205 schools with products that each school needs. He knew then that this years donation would go to them.

Colton attended the annual golf outing to present the check to the foundation.
