Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinics offering June feline spay/neuter special

Spring is "kitten season" in Illinois.

Throughout the month of June, Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinics is offering a special on cat spay and neuter surgeries. Any spay or neuter scheduled and performed in June will cost $60 with no income or county restrictions.

A microchip can be added as well as vaccines for an additional fee. More information can be found at www.spayillinois.org.

Spaying female cats prevents unwanted litters, keeps kittens out of already overcrowded shelters, and prevents certain cancers and uterine infections. Neutering male cats can reduce the incidence of inappropriate marking/spraying and aggression. Kittens can come into heat as early as four months of age and have multiple heat cycles per year. Spaying or neutering by five months is recommended for kittens.

This offer is open to all Illinois residents. All surgeries are by appointment only.

For more information or to book an appointment, call (630) 961-8000. There is an additional discount for LINK recipients, please ask about this offer when scheduling your appointment if you qualify. The Spay Illinois Surgical Center is located at 2785 Maple Ave. in Lisle.
