MainStreet Libertyville's Car Fun on 21 rolls in May 18

MainStreet Libertyville will host its series of Car Fun on 21 events beginning from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in downtown Libertyville's Cook Park. This is the event's 19th year in operation.

Classic cars, trucks and motorcycles 25 years and older will be on display on Church and Cook streets. While visitors are admiring the cars, they can listen to the sounds of a local favorite band, Blue Eyed Leo, and enjoy food served by Rosati's Pizza.

Car Fun is typically scheduled the third Wednesday of each month, May through September; in June it will be the fourth Wednesday.

Anyone displaying a car can use the Brainerd Avenue entrances to Cook and Church streets. No registration is required. Volunteers will be available to assist with parking beginning at 5 p.m. The event opens to the public at 6 p.m.

Future dates and scheduled entertainment for Car Fun on 21 are as follows:

• June 22 with Acme Music

• July 20 with The Pelvis Brothers

• Aug. 17 with Kevin & Matt

• Sept. 21 featuring Sniffles
