Schaumburg Library welcomes author Brit Bennet on Feb. 24

As part of its One Book, One Community, Schaumburg Township District Library welcomes bestselling author Brit Bennett to the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg, on Thursday, Feb. 24.

Schaumburg Library's One Book, One Community is a time for residents of Schaumburg Township and the surrounding area to join together through the joy of reading a great book, and to have meaningful conversations.

The library's One Book, One Community selection this year is "The Vanishing Half" by Brit Bennett, the bestselling novel that's being adapted into an HBO limited series.

Bennett will discuss her life and her books, and answer questions from the audience. Audience members may submit questions in advance at SchaumburgLibrary.org or the night of the event.

After her visit, Bennett's books will be available for purchase and signing thanks to Read Between the Lynes bookstore.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. to allow ample time for seating before Bennett speaks at 7 p.m. The event will also be livestreamed on YouTube at SchaumburgLibrary.tv.
