Sorensen is an internationally touring original pop, rock singer and songwriter. Her songs contain hints of her influences growing up in a German household with American music loving parents. She was raised on German folk music, Souza marches, opera, rock 'n' roll, tango, calypso, jazz, ska, and orchestral music. Her music layers rhythms, voices and styles, and pushes the boundaries of her influences with her nonconformist writing style, with fun and insightful lyrics. She has released five albums with a new one coming out in late 2019, featuring 10 tracks of all new adventurous lyrics and music.
