Alpine Fest to Launch Winter Biergarten Season at Buffalo Creek Brewing Nov. 26 - 28

Buffalo Creek Brewing in historic Long Grove is preparing to embrace the cold this winter season with the return of its Alpine Biergarten concept that debuted to a very warm reception last year.

As owner Mike Marr says, "not only a place that's centered around the art of brewing, but a shared space that connects people and friends."

Likewise, the brewery is taking a page out of its German-rooted handbook with its Alpine Biergarten and Lodge launching Black Friday. After a successful inaugural run last year, Buffalo Creek Brewing looks to again transform its picturesque grounds into an alpine winter retreat throughout the upcoming cold months - like they regularly do in Europe.

Set against a scenic pine forest backdrop and charming downtown Long Grove, the Alpine Biergarten at Buffalo Creek Brewing features multiple roaring fire pits, patio and barrel table heat lamps, throws and apparel to stay warm, twinkle lighting, holiday décor, outdoor table service, and over two acres of winter wonderland to explore.

During opening weekend, aptly named Alpine Fest, live outdoor music and the Chicago Culinary Kitchen food truck will be on-site on Friday serving up Texas-style BBQ to heat things up even more! Also, new this year, Buffalo Creek Brewing will expand its Alpine concept with the introduction of the Alpine Lodge - a cozy German winter lodge atmosphere for those who prefer to stay indoors.

Buffalo Creek Brewing is at 360 Historical Lane, Long Grove. For information, www.buffalocreekbrewing.com.
