Toys for Tots adds a virtual toy box to collection at West Chicago police station

With less than 50 days until Christmas, West Chicago residents can help a child in need by donating a new/unopened toy to the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation.

The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to provide a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas, by collecting new, unwrapped toys.

Those interested can make a toy donation in person to the West Chicago Police Station, 325 Spencer St., from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

A collection drop-off box is located right inside the front lobby and will be available until Dec. 21.

However, for those that might find it easier, a virtual toy donation can be made through a new link from Marine Toys for Tots called the Virtual Toy Box.
