Sign up by Nov. 19 for 20th annual Merry Cary Parade

The 20th annual Merry Cary Holiday Parade & Festival returns from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.

The parade steps off at 1 p.m. on Wulff Street and ends on Main Street. Cary Park District's 50th anniversary will be honored as the grand marshal. The deadline to participate in the parade is Nov. 19.

From noon to 3:30 p.m., the kids can enjoy a petting zoo and pony rides in the parking lot at BMO Harris. These activities will be paused at 1 p.m. during the parade.

There will be horse-drawn sleigh rides starting on West Main Street by The Tracks Bar & Grill starting after the parade ends.

Hear the "Caring Hearts & Voices" on Main Street.

There will be Story Time With Mrs. Claus every 30 minutes from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Linda Barrett's photo studio. Sign up at bit.ly/3E2SdZL.

Visits with Santa will be 2 to 3:30 p.m. at State Farm-The Phil Horn Agency, 111 W. Main St.

From 2 to 3:30 p.m., join in ornament decorating at Brush-Home Decor & Paint, 121 W. Main St. Or try your hand a cookie decorating at Uncle Jerry's Pizza, 133 W. Main St., hosted by Cookies by Victoria and Uncle Jerry's.

Warm up with specialty coffee and hot drinks at Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters, 77 W. Main St.
