Donate Blood at Schaumburg's Community Blood Drive Oct. 26

The Village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in the final Community Blood Drive of 2021 that will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26 at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

Interested blood donor participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at www.vitalant.org and use sponsor code SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times; however, walk-ins are welcome.

Vitalant has a critical shortage of all blood types and urges donors that are eligible to donate blood now to replenish the blood supply.

All participants must wear a face covering at the event. Safe social distancing measures will be in place. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

Participating donors will receive a coupon for a pint of Culver's frozen custard and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Jewel gift cards.
