Delta Kappa Gamma program discusses motivational teaching

Laura Beltchenko, a veteran educator with a passion for student motivation and engagement in all things literacy, recently presented a free program sponsored by the Alpha Nu chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma at Libertyville Centre Club.

Delta Kappa Gamma is an international society of women educators.

The Reggio Emilia inspired classroom believes that children possess a hundred languages; that is, a hundred ways of knowing, thinking, expressing and understanding.

The presentation shared how these ideas and methods can be used to enrich current classroom settings while adding curiosity and wonder to the life of a child.
