Find treasures at historical society's fall sale Sept. 25-26

The Dundee Township Historical Society presents its Super Spectacular Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at 611 E. Main St. in East Dundee.

There will be treasures for everyone: Haeger Pottery, antiques, collectibles, books, vintage yearbooks, linens, furniture, glassware, household items, toys, fabric, sewing patterns, costume jewelry, lamps and more.

Profits from the sale support the historical museum.

Face masks required for entry into sale per state mandate. Stop by the museum to see exhibits on the Dundee Opera House. Back in the day, entertainment was often provided at the Dundee Opera House built in 1893. The stage on the third floor welcomed traveling shows, musicals, literary reviews and school plays and graduation ceremonies.

There also are exhibits on "Advertisements of Yesteryear," "Women's Sufferage," and more.

Museum hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Wedneday and Sunday. The Dundee Township Historical Society Museum is at 426 Highland Ave. in West Dundee.
