Wine, Women & Shoes event benefits A Safe Place

A Safe Place is "going from fear to fierce" for this year's virtual Wine, Women & Shoes event beginning Friday, July 9, and concluding with a virtual broadcast July 16.

For this year's event, A Safe Place has partnered with local businesses and restaurants to craft a unique experience for guests to enjoy from the comfort of their homes.

Guests can gather with their friends and participate in the virtual event, all while enjoying wines and one-of-a-kind charcuterie boards from local food artist Liz Turnbaugh of MyCharCUTErie.

Turnbaugh, who is a firm believer in investing in the community's well-being, supports the mission of A Safe Place and is proud to partner with them on this year's event.

"MyCharCUTErie is so excited to partner with such a worthy cause," Turnbaugh said. "A Safe Place is doing amazing work in the community for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be working with them on their 5th annual Wine, Women & Shoes event."

Medline, this year's Presenting Sponsor, has been instrumental in supporting the mission of A Safe Place and those who have been affected by domestic violence and human trafficking.

In an effort to return the outpouring of support from the community, A Safe Place will also feature a "Support Local" package in this year's live auction, which includes gift cards to 10 local restaurants.

As A Safe Place and its surrounding communities begin to reopen, the need for dedicated services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking continues to rise. Involvement in this year's virtual Wine, Women & Shoes event helps ensure that A Safe Place can continue to provide these essential services. Viewing party packages and single tickets are on sale now.

A Safe Place provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking and their families. All proceeds from this event will allow A Safe Place to continue its work to end domestic violence and human trafficking in Northern Lake County.
