Schaumburg Library provides summer meal boxes to kids

Free summer meals for children ages 18 and younger will be available from noon to 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through Friday, Aug. 13, at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Road.

The boxed meals will be offered while supplies last and may be picked up from the library by parents or guardians to bring home to their children.

Adults may use curbside pickup or come inside. Those who choose curbside pickup should park in the designated spot and call (630) 372-7800.

Free summer meals are part of the Summer Food Service Program funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by the Illinois State Board of Education.
