AfterImage Film Festival to host screening of 'Best in Show' May 21

Join the AfterImage Film Festival on Friday, May 21 for the rescheduled "20th (and a Half) Anniversary" screening of the hit comedy "Best in Show!"

The screening will be held outside - in a socially responsible way, of course! - at 6:30 p.m. on South Water Street between Wilson and First Street in Batavia.

The screening will begin at sunset (approximately 7:50 p.m.).

There are picnic tables and benches available on the street. It will be first come, first served, however you may bring your own comfortable chair and a blanket if the weather will be cool.

The screening will be preceded by a live performance by Geneva's School of Rock.

The AfterImage Film Festival is an annual celebration of independent film held in the Fox Valley. Founded in 2018, AfterImage strives to present critically-acclaimed films to passionate audiences with the vision of becoming a premier Midwest film festival. The second annual AfterImage Film Festival will be held Oct. 21-24, 2021, at Charlestowne 18 Cinema.

Founded in 2018, AfterImage was formed by the dedicated volunteers of the Geneva Film Festival. The first edition of the AfterImage Film Festival will include a wide range of programming that includes both feature length and shorts, narratives and documentaries, American independents and foreign language titles. It is the goal of the AfterImage Film Festival to present high-profile, critically-acclaimed films to passionate audiences.
