Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity will virtually dedicate its latest project, a duplex at 829-831 Grove St. in Aurora, at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 16.

The public is invited to attend remotely on Zoom. Find the Zoom link on www.chicagolandhabitat.org.

Participating will be the new homeowners, the Nibitanga and Afghanzada families of Aurora, with Habitat officials and volunteers. The program will include a virtual walk-through and presentation of a ceremonial house key and housewarming gifts to the future homeowners.

Groundbreaking was in February. The project is Habitat's 66th since its founding in Aurora in 1988.

Oxford Bank and Trust of Oak Brook and Euclid Insurance Services in Itasca have pledged $300,000 to the project. Other donors of services and supplies include Custom Installations, Saint-Gobain, Home Depot, Ferguson, Studio 41, AAA Door Teks, Mom & Sons and 84 Lumber.
