DeRosa to be sworn in to Palatine Library board
Palatine Public Library District Board of Library Trustees is pleased to announce the newly elected board member from April's election, Maureen DeRosa.
She will be sworn in at a meeting of the library board May 18, and her term will expire June 2025.
DeRosa is the former director of marketing and publications for the American Academy of Pediatrics, the medical specialty society for pediatricians.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and chemistry from Clarke College, Dubuque, and a master's in public administration from Roosevelt University, Chicago.
DeRosa has been a resident of the district for more than 30 years. She is active in the community, serving on the boards of the Palatine Library Foundation and the League of Women Voters, Palatine Area, and volunteers for WINGS.
