May 1st Art Show to Benefit Animal Education and Rescue

Animal Education and Rescue (AEAR) is hosting an Art show Saturday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 523 W Park Ave, Libertyville, Ill. AEAR homeless pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and other domestic animals reside in foster homes while waiting for their forever families.

The inspirational original art is a labor of love by Sandy Kamen Wisniewski, founder and director of AEAR and her husband Chuck Wisniewski. Paintings are on canvas and painted with acrylic paint. They vary in size and price and include realistic landscape, animals, people and abstract. The goal of each painting is to bring joy and tell stories using bright colors and images. Some pieces can be previewed at https://www.facebook.com/Mindful-Art-For-Animal-Education-and-Rescue-108623537334978.

Funds raised will help animals like Hannah, a young Female Mountain Cur/Hound and Jack and Duke, a young bonded pair of male American rabbits.

AEAR is a foster-based humane society serving Lake County and surrounding areas. To learn about the organization or view adoptable pets, visit. www.aear.org and follow https://www.facebook.com/aear.org
