Woman's Club Plants Pinwheel Gardens

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Northwest Suburban Woman's Club is proud to support Prevent Child Abuse America in its Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign.

Around the country during the month of April, pinwheel gardens are planted to raise awareness of child abuse and promote healthy childhoods. Northwest Suburban members believe that everyone has a role to play in preventing child abuse and neglect. Child abuse knows no economic or social boundaries. The club planted blue and silver pinwheels at Trickster Cultural Center, 190 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg and District 54 Administration building, 524 E. Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg. Kenneth Young Center, 1001 Rohlwing Rd, Elk Grove is the third garden location.

Northwest Suburban Woman's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The club is a 501c3 philanthropic organization that supports local, state and national organizations with time and monetary donations.
