Prospect High School's quarterback/cornerback Alex "Gary" Moeller has been named the Chicago Bears "High School All-Star" for Week 3. The Bears will direct a $500 donation to the youth football program of Moeller's choice.

The senior quarterback/cornerback ran for a touchdown, threw for four more and ran back an interception with under four minutes remaining in the game to help Prospect (3-0) beat Hersey (2-1) 49-29 last Friday. The win marked their first over the Huskies since 2012. Moeller initially started his high school career as a cornerback before transitioning into the quarterback position in 2019.

Prospect, who is now ranked No. 10 on the AP's Class 7A list, will play at Rolling Meadows (1-2) on Friday.

The "High School All-Star" program is brought to you by Athletico Physical Therapy.
