Roselle Lions Club host Hope Springs Eternal Blood Drive April 13

Following the success of two recent Food Drives at which close to 10,000 items were collected, the Roselle Lions Club is hoping its next event, "Hope Springs Eternal Blood Drive," will be equally as successful.

Because of the Coronavirus pandemic blood donations have been less than normal.

The Lions hope to help this situation with its blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at the Roselle American Legion hall, 344 E. Maple Ave.

Those interested in donating blood must make an online appointment.

Appointments must be made online at donate.illinois.versiti.org.

Every donor will be given a COVID-19 antibody test as a part of standard testing.

Bring a photo ID. Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins are taken in as schedule permits.

Donors with questions can call 1-800-7to-Give.
