The mission of the volunteer-run aviation museum is to chronicle and preserve the critical role aviation has played throughout history and share this valuable information to the public through exhibits, educational programs, and flight operations. The collection includes aircraft, vehicles, uniforms and other aviation memorabilia from the 1930s to the present time. Volunteer veterans offer guided tours of the aircraft located on-site and visitors are encouraged to sit in an A-7 flown in the Gulf War, as well as climb into the pilot's seat of an UH-1 Huey helicopter.
