Living Waters Lutheran Church to host Egg Hunt Extravaganza through April 11

Living Waters Lutheran Church, 1808 Miller Road in Crystal Lake, is hosting an Egg Hunt Extravaganza through April 11.

Decorated wooden eggs are hidden throughout the woods on the church grounds - you'll even find eggs in the trees! The rule sheet for this "seek & find but leave behind" event can be found at the Easter entrance to the quarter-mile trail that winds through the woods.

The only cost is a non-perishable item for the food pantry, which can be dropped off in the bin at the front door of the church.

Joe and Colene La Monica designed this project. Their enthusiastic assistants were Andrea Lily, Becky Hatfield Marshall, Trish Nikolich, Chris Schenkenfelder, Michelle Reis and Girl Scout Troop #519 led by Erin Taylor.

The egg hunt is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through April 11.
