St. Emily School reaches out to Lutheran General Hospital
Greetings to Lutheran General Hospital from St. Emily School
During Catholic Schools Week, St. Emily students made uplifting cards which were distributed to doctors, nurses and patients at Lutheran General Hospital. Those who received the cards were extremely touched by all the caring and compassionate words inside. Several doctors and nurses wanted the students to know that their kind gesture truly made a difference in so many lives. St. Emily students and Lutheran General staff met via zoom on February 25. There were smiles, waves, thank yous, and tears of gratitude.
