Lavelle Law Attorneys Hosting Free Virtual Seminar on How to Recapture 2020 Losses Through Litigation

Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law is hosting a free virtual seminar entitled, "Using Litigation to Heal Your Business & Avoid Disaster" to help businesses hoping to capture some of the losses sustained in the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This interactive seminar is part of the law firm's quarterly Breakfast Briefs series, which covers a variety of legal topics that impact businesses and individuals.

Litigation tends to be a last resort when it comes to settling business disputes, but it may offer certain businesses the opportunity to make up for losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic last year. With the vaccine on the horizon, businesses are looking to bring their workforce back into the office and maximize earnings in 2021 through any means possible.

The panel, which includes Lavelle Law Business Litigation attorneys Matthew Sheahin, Jennifer Burt Tee and Lance Ziebell, will cover the various ways business owners can utilize litigation and will review the relief options available through the Illinois judicial system, including TROs and Preliminary and Permanent Injunctions.

"Because 2020 was a rough year for many businesses and contracts couldn't be upheld, we're anticipating that many businesses will resort to litigation in 2021," said Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "In this seminar, our knowledgeable attorneys will discuss how to protect your business and your trade secrets in the event of litigation, as well as how to use it as a tool to recoup losses."

"Using Litigation to Heal Your Business & Avoid Disaster" will take place on Wednesday, February 10 from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Registration is required.
