North Suburban YMCA to Host Virtual Trivia Night Fundraiser

The North Suburban YMCA will hold a Virtual Trivia Night fundraiser on Friday, February 19 from 7 to 9pm. All proceeds from the Y's Virtual Trivia Night will benefit the community-supported North Suburban YMCA's mission-focused programs. Open to the public, participants are invited to form teams of 8, with individual entries also welcomed. Trivia night is part of the "Revive the Y" fundraising efforts.

The cost to participate in the Trivia Night event is $25 per person, or $160 for a team of 8. Raffle tickets are available for $25 each, or 3 for $50 and include the chance to win prizes or gift cards from Bloomingdales, Athleta, Target, Tito's Vodka, and Alicia Mohr. Participants registered by February 5, 2021 will get their name put into the raffle drawing. For more information visit www.nsymca.org.

While modified to keep the community connected during the pandemic, a wealth of new initiatives is now underway at the Y including the popular Adult Education Series with virtual and live options; the launch of the Virtual Y, a new membership-only resource that ensures community members can access their favorite classes and programming online; and the "Remote Learning"program for 2nd to 8th grade students and special needs students.

"We're excited to offer the community an opportunity to give back and have a great virtual night out. Plus, it's fun for everyone to show the depth of their trivia knowledge while battling for the top spot," said North Suburban YMCA CEO, Kathy Fielding.
