Palatine church to host multigenerational art show

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Palatine, invites artists to participate in its new Spring 2021 multigenerational art show titled "Planting Hope."

Springing from the inspiration of Senior Pastor Karl Fay, who is himself a working artist, Prince of Peace encourages artists of all ages to meditate on hopeful things, create works inspired by such hope, and share those sentiments with the community.

The art show will include a juried competition with cash prizes awarded on April 16. Submitted artworks will also be displayed at Prince of Peace between April 16-30, and will be simultaneously displayed in a virtual art show on the Prince of Peace website.

Artists in second grade to adult may submit both 2-D and 3-D artworks to the juried show. Submissions must be received before March 31.
