Lake County's Ernie Brown to be Inducted into The National Boxing Hall Of Fame

Zion resident Ernie Brown,will be inducted into the National Boxing Hall of Fame,Sunday, April 26th 2020. Ernie who is a Retired Corrections officer with the Lake County sheriff's department, and served 20 years in the United States Navy,has been involved in Boxing for more than 42years. He is a former boxer, cornerman/cut man, promoter,assistant trainer,and manager. Ernie Brown currently works with the American Boxing Organization, as Supervisor and Ranking Chairman. He was also inducted into the Illinois Boxing Hall Of Fame in 2017.
