Schaumburg Library offers job-hunting program for adults over 50

"Job Hunting Over 50" will take place online from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 14, on Zoom through the Schaumburg Township District Library. This free program requires registration to receive the Zoom link. It can also be live-streamed on SchaumburgLibrary.tv.

Participants will learn the job-search advantages for adults over 50 years old.

Talent Acquisition Partner Karen Evertsen will share her recruiter and business expertise and offer tips and advice.

Topics will include networking, professional branding, resume writing, interviewing and using LinkedIn.

All three library buildings are closed until further notice, in accordance with the governor's COVID-19 guidelines.
