Leadership Greater McHenry County now accepting 2021 internship applications

Leadership Greater McHenry County recently opened the application process for the Summer 2021 LGMC Nonprofit Leadership Intern Program.

The paid internship allows current college students to explore the career potential that exists within the nonprofit sector while developing management and leadership skills.

Six interns will be selected for the Summer 2021 program through a competitive application and interview process.

The program is open to college students from all majors. Interns will be matched with participating McHenry County nonprofit organizations based on interests, skills, and the host's specific needs. Applicants must have either graduated from a McHenry County high school or currently reside in the county.

Applications for the Summer 2021 program are being accepted through Jan. 29.
