Ansel Brainerd Cook NSDAR Chapter Member Kristin Billups and her daughter Charleston have been creating handmade Christmas cards. The cards will be sent to the Veterans at the La Salle Veterans Home in La Salle, IL and the Veterans at the Midwest Shelter in Wheaton, IL. on behalf of the A. B. Cook Chapter NSDAR and the Illinois Prairie Society, N.S.C.A.R.
Kristin, who is an employee of State Farm Insurance, plans to submit her volunteer hours to State Farm's Good Neighbor Grant Program in hopes of receiving a grant for our chapter.
