DuPage accepting comments on St. Joseph Creek Watershed Plan

DuPage County is studying the St. Joseph Creek Watershed, which flows through portions of Lisle, Downers Grove and Westmont, to identify flood control improvements that may be implemented.

The DuPage County Stormwater Management Planning Committee and County Board will review and consider comments prior to adoption of the watershed plan.

A draft of the St. Joseph Creek Watershed Plan is available online for review at www.dupageco.org/EDP/Stormwater_Management/63843/.

DuPage County Stormwater Management is accepting comments and input on the draft watershed plan through Saturday, Jan. 2.

The St. Joseph Creek watershed, which is part of the East Branch DuPage River watershed, covers 11.24 square miles (7,192 acres) in DuPage County. The watershed includes portions of the following communities: Village of Lisle; Village of Downers Grove; Village of Westmont; and areas in unincorporated DuPage County.
