Hoosier Grove Barn receives The Knot's Best of Weddings award for the sixth consecutive year

The Knot, a leading wedding planning brand and app, awarded the highly coveted and well-regarded Best of Weddings Award to Hoosier Grove Barn on Nov. 18, 2020, in recognition of representing the highest-and most-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families, and wedding guests.

This is the sixth consecutive The Knot "Best of Weddings" Award given to Hoosier Grove Barn, which was also inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame in 2018. Hoosier Grove Barn was one of five percent out of hundreds of thousands of wedding professionals listed on The Knot to receive the award.

Despite COVID-19 interrupting many 2020 weddings and social events, wedding professionals around the nation continued to support to-be-weds throughout their wedding planning journeys. From adjusting future schedules to make way for postponed weddings, to helping couples host socially distanced weddings

following state and local guidelines and restrictions with an increased focus on health and safety, wedding pros - and the industry as a whole - rallied together in 2020, ultimately helping couples continue to celebrate life and love. The Knot 2021 Best of Weddings recognition honors the vendors who went above and beyond to help to-be-weds navigate the global pandemic.

"Since this award is based on reviews from happy couples, it really validates all of the hard work our staff does to make each event special. We take great pride in every kind word that our couples took the time to write about us and we appreciate it more than we can say," said Mallory Lorence, Event & Corporate Services Manager.

In its 15th annual year, The Knot continues its long-standing tradition of supporting local wedding vendors with The Knot Best of Weddings 2021, an annual by-couples, for-couples guide to the top wedding professionals across the country. This comes as the industry prepares for an increase in upcoming celebrations due to postponed events throughout 2020.

Renovation of the barn began in early 1993.

This 35-ton barn was raised and moved off its cobblestone foundation. The original structure remains intact, including the support timbers and interior siding. The exterior was repainted, returning it to its initial brick red color. Hoosier Grove Barn continues to serve the Streamwood and surrounding communities with weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate events.

Hoosier Grove Barn continues to host tours for future bookings. To book an appointment for your future birthday, anniversary or event, visit HoosierGroveBarn.com, or contact Mallory Lorence, Event & Corporate Services Manager, at MLorence@spdcares.com.
