Fox River Grove Library premieres 2 videos highlighting the library and the community

The Fox River Grove Memorial Library District has created two videos to promote the library and the Fox River Grove community.

The videos were funded by the My Library Is … Grant from the Reaching Across Illinois Libraries System (RAILS). The videos are available on the library's YouTube channel, social media, and website, as well as the RAILS "My Library Is" website.

Library Superfans:

The first video features real library patrons sharing what makes the Library so special to them. "In these difficult days, we are proud that the library can give some comfort and joy while so much of our lives is on hold," said Nicole Steeves, executive director, Fox River Grove Public Library District.

Celebrating the FRG Community:

The second video highlights the quality of life in the Fox River Grove community. The Library will freely share this video with community partners to help spread the message of what makes this small town so special. "Having powerful images makes storytelling about a community much more effective," Steeves said.

The Fox River Grove Public Library District serves a growing population of just over 4,800 residents and offers materials, services, and programs for patrons of all ages. The library provides materials and services to help our community obtain information for their educational, recreational, professional, personal, and reference needs. Library staff strive to assist students of all ages in meeting educational objectives.

The library is at 407 Lincoln Ave. For information, visit frgml.org.
