Hilltop Community Suppers going on hiatus due to COVID-19 upsurge

Hilltop Community Suppers, an outreach effort offering a free monthly meal, is on hiatus until further notice.

In response to rising COVID-19 cases in our area, the Hilltop Community Suppers Team has decided to suspend this ministry until conditions improve.

Of course, the team has followed strict COVID-specific protocols and have not had any positive tests resulting from participation in the program.

At the same time, in this environment and with the likelihood that cases will continue to rise through the holiday season, the process of food acquisition, preparation, service and delivery presents too many risks to our members, friends and guests.

First Congregational Church of Dundee would like to especially thank all of the volunteers who have made these suppers possible over the last five years and they look forward to resuming this ministry as soon as feasibly possible.

"The Church on the Hill" is located at 900 S. Eighth St. (Route 31 and Angle Tarn), West Dundee.
