This Giving Tuesday, Dec. 1, Batavia United Way is partnering with Schaefer Greenhouses Inc., The Tea Tree Batavia, and UBS Financial of Oakbrook Terrace to send Batavia senior citizens some holiday cheer.

Each donation of $25 will secure a poinsettia, a cup of tea, and a McDonald's gift card to a needy senior to brighten their day.

This pandemic has been difficult and isolating to so many people, especially our elderly neighbors.

Please consider donating to help show your love at a time when we are unable to be physically present to do so.

A special thanks to our friends at Batavia RSVP who will be assisting with deliveries.

Donations can be made via the Batavia United Way website at bataviaunitedway.org/campaigns/giving-tuesday/or by sending a check to P.O. Box 372. Batavia, IL 60510.

The Batavia United Way is a nonprofit organization charged with raising funds and disbursing them in a fiscally responsible manner to programs which directly benefit Batavians specifically in the areas of education, health and income.
