Carpentersville's FISH Food Pantry is here to help

FISH Food Pantry wishes to remind their friends and neighbors in Carpentersville, West Dundee, East Dundee, Sleepy Hollow and Gilberts that the holidays are fast approaching.

Pantry staff know that there are those who are not as fortunate and who may be in need of food. This year will be especially challenging as the community is dealing with the pandemic, loss of jobs, and financial instability.

FISH Food Pantry is here to help with food items, not only during the holiday season, but throughout the year.

If you need food stop in! New families are welcome. When you come, bring a photo ID as well as a recent utility bill that shows your current address.

The food pantry is located at 150 S. Kennedy Drive, Suite 8B-11A in Carpentersville. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.

For more information, call (847) 428-4357 or go to our website ww.fish-food-pantry.org.

Cash donations are the most effective way to support the pantry. Due to its affiliation with Northern Illinois Food Bank, every $1 donated buys the equivalent of $8 worth of food from a supermarket.
