Glenbard students earn national recognition for academic success

Congratulations to Glenbard East High School student Salmah Abdulkadir and Glenbard West High School student Pierce Cousins on being named National Recognition Program African American Scholars, and congratulations to Glenbard South High School student Gustavo Fonseca and Glenbard West High School students Luisa Metz and Omar Villa-Zuniga on being named National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars.

These students earned academic recognition as part of the College Board National Recognition Programs.

They earned qualifying scores on the Preliminary SAT/ National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test scores and had a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher by the middle of their junior year. These academic honors can be included in college and scholarship applications.
