Elmhurst University to host program on Holocaust education Nov. 9

On the anniversary of Kristallnacht, Elmhurst University will host an online discussion on "The Future of Holocaust Education" from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9.

The panel discussion will include: Rebecca Carter-Chand, Ph.D., acting director, Programs on Ethics, Religion, and the Holocaust, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, D.C.; Mary Kay Mulvaney, Ph.D., professor of English, director of the Honors Program at Elmhurst University; Michelle Sadowski, assistant director of the Niebuhr Center, Elmhurst University; and Rabbi Steven Bob, founding member of the Elmhurst University Holocaust Committee, Jewish chaplain.

The moderator will b the Rev. H. Scott Matheney, chaplain at Elmhurst University.
