Naperville Park District Police asking for 2020 Toys for Tots donations

Members of the Naperville Park District Police invite the community to contribute new, unwrapped toys for the 2020 DuPage County Toys for Tots program, hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Toys will be collected at various locations now through Saturday, Dec. 12.

"It's not too early to think about purchasing a few extra toys to brighten the holidays for kids in need," said Chief Steve Schindlbeck. "With more families experiencing financial hardships this year, your donations will be greatly appreciated."

Collection sites are:

• Park District Administration Building, 320 W. Jackson Ave. Drop off toys in the collection box in the vestibule.

• Central Maintenance Facility, 427 Martin Ave. Hours of operations are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson Ave. Hours of operation are: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

• Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive. Hours of operation are: 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

• 95th Street Center, 2244 W. 95th St. Hours of operation are: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

Toys for Tots accepts only new, unwrapped toys. Please do not donate stuffed animals or toy weapons.
