"The mission for Scarecrow Rows is to highlight all the amazing community groups and businesses who have come together to make the scarecrows and for visitors and residents alike to experience our quaint downtown by shopping at our diverse retail stores and dining our vibrant restaurant scene," said Dawn Smith, executive director of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce.

"With COVID-19, the chamber created a new event to be socially distant and family friendly, while showcasing our businesses. We were surprised by the popularity of the event drawing in over 100 scarecrows. People are looking for something to do for the Halloween holiday that is safe, fun and unique. We are proud to provide Scarecrow Rows!" Smith added.
