Pingree Grove announces trick-or-treat hours for Oct. 31
Pingree Grove has established official trick-or-treating hours for Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 8 p.m.
During these hours, parents, guardians or adult sponsors of trick or treaters, are asked to chaperone them safely through village neighborhoods. Motorists traveling on local streets are to obey all traffic laws and be alert for trick or treaters.
Parents/guardians are asked to be sure to discuss trick or treat safety with children under their care.
• Wear a brightly colored or reflective costume;
• Choose a costume without a mask;
• Always stop, look & listen both ways before crossing at street corners;
• Always walk and never run;
• Trick or treat in familiar areas;
• Trick or treat in the company of an adult, family friend or guardian;
• Instruct children not to eat any candy until a parent or guardian has inspected it.
