Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Crystal Lake hosts ribbon cutting and grand opening

On Thursday, Oct. 1, the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening event at the newly opened Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 5006 Northwest Hwy., Unit C, in Crystal Lake.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe's mission is to serve amazing smoothies and food with a bit of tropical fun. The chain has grown to be a lifestyle brand for people looking for better-for-you alternatives to fast food.

Gina Williams, franchise owner of Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Crystal Lake and Cary resident, says the decision to become a Tropical Smoothie franchise owner was a no-brainer. "Everyone is looking for ways to eat better and live a healthier lifestyle," says Williams, "Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers healthier food choices and a great experience for our customers.
